"We spent a very pleasant holiday in Tuscany in October 2013, staying in San Quirico and exploring the surrounding countryside and villages. Whilst the autumn colours were not yet at their very best, the vinyards were gloriously golden and the patterns and colours in the fields, especially in Le Crete were a revelation. Memories will include a wonderful misty morning in Val d'Orcia; nor will we forget the remarkable thunderstorm that we experienced on one day. It seemed to come out of nowhere on what was a lovely sunny day, but did provide some remarkable images, before during and afterwards."
